VZ ActiveVOC™ activated carbon is manufactured under strict quality control using carefully selected carbon-based grades. It is activated through a comprehensive controlled process and pre-treated with chemical reactants specifically designed to remove hydrocarbons from vapor streams containing odorous gases.

The filter contains VZ ActiveVOC™ filter media consisting of odor-selective activated carbon. Once the filter media has reached its full capacity, only the odor-selective activated carbon needs to be replaced.

The VOCZero Vapor Odor Reduction System acts as a filter for the removal of odorous vapors.

Hydrocarbon, H₂S or Mercaptan Odor Removal Process

Gas containing hydrocarbon, H₂S, or mercaptan odors is directed to the odor removal unit located at the bottom of the reactor vessel. The odor-causing components are adsorbed onto the surface of the VZ ActiveVOC™ filter media, while the purified gas exits through the top of the reactor. Depending on the concentration of odor-causing compounds in the inlet gas, the VZ ActiveVOC™ filter media is designed for a service life of one to two years.

VOCZero OTF™ Odor Tank Filter

Gas containing hydrocarbon, H₂S, or mercaptan odors is directed to the odor removal unit located at the bottom of the reactor vessel. The odor-causing components are adsorbed onto the surface of the VZ ActiveVOC™ filter media, while the purified gas exits through the top of the reactor.

The VZ ActiveVOC™ filter media is designed for a service life of one to two years, depending on the concentration of odor-causing compounds in the inlet gas.

Gas containing hydrocarbon, H₂S, or mercaptan odors enters through nozzle N1. The odor-causing components are adsorbed onto the surface of the VZ ActiveVOC™ filter media, and the purified gas leaves the filter through a vent cap located at the top.

The filters can be installed directly on emission sources such as storage tanks or pit vents.
